I recently upgraded to a new computer with the newest version of Leopard (10.5.6) from a g4. When I went to plug in my iPod for the first time this morning however, the computer spit it out. I saw my iPod on my desktop for two seconds and then it ejected it. I can still see it on my iTunes but of course cannot listen to any of the music. All I want is to see my files stored on my iPod as a harddrive. Has anyone else found this problem or have any suggestions? I know I've been able to see all my files on numerous computers before this- is this a Leopard problem??

The only time an iPod should mount on the Desktop is if it has disk use enabled in the iPod Summary pane in iTunes, or if manually enabled. If you can see it in iTunes but you can't click on any of the songs that typically means it set to sync with another computer, and you cannot just double-click a song in the music section of the iPod source list to play it back.
