Leopard Drop-In Disk

I bought an iMac today, and it came with a Drop-In leopard disk.

I'm not saying I'm going to do this, but will this work if I install it on other computers? I have a black Macbook and I wanted to toy around with it.

My only concern (not sure if it's a legit one) is that if I install Leopard on it that the updates won't work?
 
It will work just fine on your black Macbook.

The drop in DVD has exactly the same version of Leopard as the retail disc, the only difference is that it looks for OS 10.4 (or higher) on the Mac before it starts to install.

Legally, you should only load it on the Mac it was supplied with.
