Hey guys, have a Leopard upgraded macbook pro, and all is fine except the fact that on every startup I get text edit file opening called .DS_Store...

It' s really annoying, so i fired up the terminal and deleted it from my home folder but it seems to still pop up on every startup.

Any ideas of how i can fix this?

    Thanks

    Charles.

Weird. Is it listed in either one of the StartupItems folders or your Login Items in System Preferences?

    Turn off "Show All"

    In Terminal type this:

    defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles OFF

    (Copy-past will work)

    Worked for me.

    :-D
