Front row worked fine in 10.4 on my MBP 2.33, just slowish. So i've been looking forward to the Apple TV type front row. I get 10.5 installed and it works flawlessly. Video played fast, menus worked amazing, trailers where much fast, just completely better in every aspect imo. So I hook it up to my HDTV... and guess what.... Video doesn't play when hooked up to a TV, not even purchased vidoes from itunes. The timelaps bar is there, sound is there, but no video. And only when i hook it to my HDTV. We tried my friends too. I kinda feel this is their way of making me go get a Apple TV...kinda lame.
So, is this apple's way to force me to get an Apple TV? I hope they fix this..soon.
