Ok I'm a little disappointed with Leopard so far. IMHO in was released early, :( it's a great system but just needs fine tuned. I wouldn't of minded waiting another month for it to be more stable.) Anyways, I'm switching back to Tiger for a while till things get straightened out a bit.

My question is, will iCal (Leopard) work on Tiger, I just love the date being correct in the menu bar with out iCal being open. I tried just swapping the apps but it won't open in Tiger. Is this possible.

Any thoughts, knowledge, comments welcome. This inquizitive mind would like to know.

Thanks in advance on any help.

Nup. You could always leave iCal running in the background, but have it hidden. :)

You could always make an iCal event that opens iCal itself to happen a little past midnight everyday, that way it'll have the same date every day.

Make a new calendar in iCal with the event, then uncheck it so that the you don't see all those events.

If you know how to work applescript/terminal, it also far more transparent.
