I currently have two imac g4's. I updated the 1.25ghz machine to leopard and -just for fun- I cloned the leopard HDD to the old 700mhz machine. ...It actually runs "okay" with it's maxed-out (1GB) ram.
One strange thing though is that on the login screen and the 'about this mac' page, leopard seems to think that it is running on an ibook-G4.
I'm probably going to sell it soon. I'm not sure whether to leave leopard on it or not, but while it's doing this, I definitely can't, as the buyer might panic.
I know i can't complain as this is just a side-effect of an O.S. running on an unsupported system... But, there's no harm in asking... Any way to put it right?
