    Hey guys,

I just did the upgrade. At the moment I'm horribly dissapointed. I never thought I'd say this, but my mac almost seems slow.

    Yes, spotlight has finished indexing.

When I take a Finder window, and move it slightly.. it seems to sluggishly refresh.. almost warps a bit. Other things like Exposé seem nowhere near as smooth. Genie effect and stacks are fine though.

    Macbook C2D 2Ghz.

    Any ideas what's wrong?

there are a lot of threads about this. let's not make a new one for each case.

The threads are generally about expose, stacks etc; all of which are fine for me. Im beginning to think its something else. The massive shadows that apear outside small windows (such as trash delete confirmation) are ridiculously bloated too.

I'm absolutely shocked. The new dock is smooth for me though. It's just this bloody finder. I always move it around, and now to move it.. it feels very clunky, bulky or something.. it almost flickers.

For example, while moving I cannot read the titlebar. (Its the same for all applications, you just notice it more in Finder). It just almost blurs or flickers..

Also to note, I usually delete all the extra languages from Applications. On doing this in Leopard, after a few applications... finder crashes!...

My finder is column mode takes forever to refresh or open new icons - like over a second - used to be instant basically in Tiger - really disappointing!
