Leopard install problem

I don't know wether or not I posted this in the right forum, but I really need some help.

When I restart (from the leopard installer) It comes up with the grey screen with the apple logo (as usual), and then goes to a darker grey screen with a box saying that I need to restart.

What should I do? 🙁


(I have a Powerbook g4, 1.33 ghz)

Your getting kernal panics when booting to the install disc?
That does not sound right.

no help? Im not able to eject the disc, so if somehow I manually take the disc out, will this help?

maybe, just hold down ur mouse button while the computer restarts.

Try doing an ubuntu livecd memory test, replacing the hard drive, checking the CD for scratches, etc.
