Leopard Mail - stationary query

Hi

Does anyone know how the stationary templates work in the new Mail? Usually, with HTMl newsletters, you have to store photos on a webpage somewhere, so they appear within the email when the recipient views it. I assume this won't be the case, so are the photos sent as attachments?

Also, will it possible to create your own templates?

I've since found that it is possible to make your own templates, but still can't find an answer to the attachment question 😕
