Hi,
Well, this is a bit of an unusual question. I want to buy a new MacBook after over 10 years on PC, but I understand Leopard is coming out on October, so I'm thinking of waiting until it comes out, to get a Mac with Leopard already installed.
I've tried to check if buying a Mac now (or anytime between now and October) will grant me a free or cheap upgrade to Leopard, since it's so close to the release date, but my local distributor (Israel) doesn't know and I searched, hopelessly, for a way to send a question to Apple - Their site has everything except for a contact form!
Does anyone know how can I contact Apple directly, or what is the usual policy concerning upgrading with a new computer? Oh, and are there any rumors about the exact release date for Leopard (I mean, is it early or late October?)

I can't wait to get my hand on a MacBook... :)

Thanks,

Unless you purchase the new computer within a few days of Leopard being released, you will get no discount or upgrade price. Your best bet will be to wait until Leopard is actually released, and then make your purchase.
