Leopard - Verify Disk permissions

Installed Leopard on a clean drive, only installed 2 apps so far, Firefox and Adium.

When using Disk Utility and doing a verify disk permissions on my Leopard drive, it takes FOREVER! Close to 5 minutes, and there is only 12 GB used on the drive.

Can anyone else with Leopard run a Verify Disk Permissions to see if you have the same wait?

Mine takes forever as well, long enough to stop the verification. Clean install.

Clean install here, and no problems with verify disk permissions. I'll have to add that I use Mainmenu for those kind of things.

There are other threads on this issue. I think it's a problem within Leopard.
