Just wondering what is better between the two?

I'm looking to do heavy duty programming on Windows - Visual Studio, SQL Server, the works. I'm currently on Tiger and up until recently I was unhappy with VMware performance. It was very sluggish... BUT I had it using 1gb of memory and I recently knocked it down to 512mb (I have the high end macbook).

What do you guys think?

You should also be using at least a 5400 and preferably 7200 rpm drive for Visual Studio due to the enormous amount of files you have open at once. 2008 doesn't help much.
