Is anyone having strange behaviour with Leopard?

I have 1.8G SP G5. The fans occasionally ramp up then back down. This never occurred in Tiger.
On my mini (1.25 G4) it keeps dropping my wireless link. Tiger would occasionally drop it, but Leopard ever half hour or so. Every time from wake up.
I just got (and returned) a MacBook. Very similar to the mini on dropping the wifi. It came with Tiger and I installed Leopard so I could see the before and after.

Anyone else with issues?

the os has little to do with the fan speeds, it might be a spotlight or time machine thing (if you have those activated) or something that does periodic checks.

i dont know about the wifi, im fine on my MBP.

I have Spotlight on both Tiger and Leopard. Timemachine is on for Leopard.
On Tiger when doing a rendering, so CPU is flatout, I'd never get the fans to speed up.
But Leopard, Its almost like it's possessed.

My guess:
Leopard talks to the hardware less often. My understanding with the fans is that they will go to full speed if not told to run slow. Fail safe.
