Im running 10.5.4 on my Macbook, and sometime the internet just dies when im using my wireless connection. It just slows to a crawl and sometimes pages refuse to load. its not my router because my ipod is just as fast as usual, so what is it?

What channel do you have the router on? how far are you from the router? have you installed the latest firmware for your router?

its on channel 1, im only around 20-25 feet away. But even if im really close it still does this. I've had to turn off all encryption and just use MAC filtering. I'm on the latest firmware for my Belkin G+MIMO Router

I fixed the problem completely, changed the channel to 4, now i can even enable all my old encryption settings. Thanks for all your help

Just to clarify, Channel 1 on Routers seems to be a bad channelfor all of them. There are a lot of other things that run almost identical frequency that would likely interrupt the signal.
