Does anyone know of a(legitimate and legal) source for this?

I've tried to no avail on Ebay, although I'm hoping that one will pop up.

I need it to extract some kexts to get Leopard to work on my G4-upgrade B&W...it seems as though the WWDC preview is one of the few places to get these, since it would actually run on an unmodified B&W.

There's very, very few places to locate that. To make it even harder, only a few thousand discs were made.

Thanks Intell-that's what I was afraid of.

It would be nice if I could just get my hands on the kexts I need, even though I'd like the full thing to play around with too.

I guess I'll just keep my eyes open on Ebay and hope that someone who has one will part with it.

Your welcome :) i'm Happy to help Heh. I my self have been looking for a G4 upgrade for my G3 beige so I Can Hack leopard on it :p But so far I have not been able to find a G4 ZIF module :(

Yeah Iv seen that thread its quite cool :) I currently don't have access to the market place atm But I do keep an eye out on ebay heh

Just something id like to say Where it says in the lepoard guide to disable the onboard video in a G3 beige I think Removing the Rage Pro Kexts Xpostfacto installs would work better

That link doesn't include all of the needed kexts. It is missing the ones for audio, modem, proper video support, and something else that I don't remember.

Oh My bad  I was Just trying to help... It sounds Like you might have the Kexts at hand maby U can Zip em up and provide a download link or somthing?

On a technical level, you should not own that as you did not sign the NDA when you got it from Apple. However, I personally see no problem with it.

The NDA would seem to be a moot point since the retail version has been out over 7 years now :)

Not really, the betas contain things that never made it to retail. Apple would still expect people to honor the NDA and possibly seek punitive measures against those that break it.

It's probably more likely that they will be struck by lightening...

The OP just has to make their own moral judgement, not have you preach from the mount....

I cover all the bases, not saying that Apple would do it would be thoughtless as there is always a chance of it happening.
