I've only got Safari up right now, and my battery life seems to be dropping drastically since I upgraded it. I'm slightly concerned. Does anyone seem to have this problem? Anyone have an idea what I can do to fix it? My Mac is the one in the profile ('09 MBP, 3.06ghz, 4gb RAM, 9600mGT (though the 9400m is on)).

Has spotlight finished indexing the volume?

Yup, even backed up my TM volume and unplugged it once it was finished. I think I'm getting a bit better of battery life now... but it still seems like I'm under what I used to be at with SL.

I have the same MBP (only with 8GB Ram and 2 ssd:s) ... spotlight is disabled
I´m also slightly concerned, doing the same stuff as before on SnowLeo my battery drained way too fast... 😕 maybe a new calibration is needed but this doesnt look good at all

You should not see much of a change. Usage is about the same as in SL.

How fast? I'm seeing the same.

I think I probably need a calibration after further investigation. It seems slightly less, but I think only time will tell if it actually is worse.

dont know how fast... yet
after the Lion-install I unplugged the charger, did some heavy usage 95-100% cpu for some time... 🙂 didnt feel like a long time though, next time I looked at the battery icon it showed 77%...
I´ll have to look into this later, maybe it´s just a feeling
