i have been watching videos on people drawing with the pencil on the 2018 iPad. It sounds echoey (unlaminated?) when the tip touches the screen. Does a screen protector help with this effect?

I’ve read people adding screen protectors to give the pencil more drag / feel mor like writing on paper vs smooth glass. I’d imagine the softer screen protectors would also help dampen the noise too.

Some reviewers have mentioned that Apple Pencil #2 has more drag automatically, although I’m not sure why that would be as it has the same tip as far as I can tell.
