    Hello!

I just noticed that, when on battery power, my MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz displays most of the OS Animations alot slower than it does when it's plugged in. For example when I minimize. Is the GPU underclocked or something when on battery power?

    btw. I'm running the 9400.

    thx!

Yes, the system underclocks the GPU and the CPU when running on the battery

You sure you're not getting that mixed ups with when the battery is removed?

The CPU and GPU are underclocked to improve battery life
