i bought a new iphone couple days ago with 1.1.2. I unlocked and jailbroked it. No problems. Today i upgraded to 1.1.4 and again did both with no problems. However, when i connnect the phone to itunes, in the summary pane, there is a bar which shows the storage used. audio, videos, photos and others. This 'other' section has used up 1 GB of my space. It was not on 1.1.2 i dont know how it came.i havent put anything in the phone yet. Any ideas...? so i now have only 6.3 GB of available storage

"other" is all the files that iTunes doesn't recognize that is sitting on the iPod partition of your iPhone.
When you jailbreak, some files get stored on the iPod partition.
If you chose to move your fonts, ringtones and apps over to that partition with something like Boss Tool, they will show up as "other" also.
