I have the spigen neo hybrid with metallized buttons and its works perfectly with this case. However the platinum case from seidio or bestbuy version will not work with the iloome protector

Do you have a preference -- glossy or matte, and do you think the case optimized version is necessary? I have the Rock 0.8MM Ultrathin Soft Clear TPU Case, which only barely comes over the front edge of the phone.

I've never actually used the matte BSE on the front. I have used the back and sides on my 5, and I loved it.

I don't have the case optimized version and I find it fits fine with my Ringke Slim, it does lift a tiny but when I put the case on but it goes back down just fine.

Unfortunately no, Mine does have a slight orange peel look, but you can't really notice it unless the light hits it right. I can't notice it when the screen is on. Clarity is great, doesn't really pick up many oils or fingerprints either.

I plan on keeping mine until something better comes along

That's good to know. Thanks for the heads up. Contemplating the purchase, just unsure as to what type to order. I use a tech 21 case and would love for the full screen protection to fit with the tech 21. I hate those case friendly protectors that leaves the moat of dust collection.
