cool! i updated my iPads and my iP5 so far im not touching the 4 till I know we will still have root access.

one question i have though is everyone keeps saying you have to add a few lines of text on a springboard.plist file where is this file located in the file system? any idea?:apple:

Yes thats what you do but i just can't find a springboard.plist file i found a file called springboard but i edited that and my springboard wouldn't launch so i was forced to restore. btw if you just take out the afc2 edit it works fine and will update. I am updating my iPhone 4 right now.:D:D:D
Just kidding got to the end and failed.

cool man. im on b2 messing around! I might be on to something i am using the internal ios 6 settings bundle and i have a few ideas.

Yes we should defiantly get a chatroom going may be a group iMessage? Just tell everyone you email in a pm. I have decided not to update my iPhone 4 but I did update my MacBook Air.
If needed I can go back to iOS 6 and see if we can get it to work on there and then transfer our work from iOS 6 to iOS 7.
Also we need to add <key>apple-internal-install</key><true/> but there is no N90.plist other wise the settings will just keep crashing.

I FOUND SOMETHING IN THE SPRINGBOARD FILE IT Has the directory /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/PrototypeTools.framework.:D:D:D:D:D:D
I think i may have found the switch to turn it on and off too:D:D:D:D:D:D OPEN THE SPINGBOARD FILE IN TEXTEDIT AND SEACH FOR SBPrototypeSettingsEnabled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice! So what I Found is iBackupbot it is a program that lets you edit backups and then restore to them. for some reasons the files are organized differently but when Hamza explained how to enable the maps debugging people made videos about that and the show a folder with all of the preferences.Plists all in one place. I took a look myself and sure enough it has a springboard one as well. do you think this could be where we need to add the SBPrototypeSettingsEnabled stuff? I could be way off but i got really excited about this! :p

Good find! He has a iPhone 5 and you can't get root on that's so that's probably what he did. I will look at that right now! Open it and search for the words SBPrototypeSettings and see what you come up with!

I would like a tutorial if anyone could help :p I also saw the internal Maps settings as well, and I believe that is just a backup edit, and help there?

No one has figured this out yet if you want to help me and jsd007 you can and I tried to get the maps internal settings and I couldn't even find something called com.apple.maps.plist but that is probably just a simple switch flip.
 
Debug

He had posted this on his twitter for about the debug menus http://www.sonnydickson.com/2013/07/09/expose-hidden-ios-debug-settings/ I would love to help out with the springboard settings but i am an Ip5 and i dont know how to get root access with patching afc2 if its even possible, i would love some guidance on how i might b able to help some more i am kindof lost at some of the internal stuff but i do know a thing or two.

This was done by doing a .mobileconfig profile but it cant be done in the IPCU because it uses keys that are not recognized
 
iPhone 4 Internal Settings

Hello, I would love to help. I added Prototype Tools.framework to my iPhone than created the path to Internal Settings.bundle however, after doing this Setting.app crashes every time on opening.

If it's crashing then you must have done something right as it's obviously changed the behaviour of Settings.app. Do you see anything in the crash log of the settings app that could help?
