Okay, I'll get it started and then we'll see where it goes. Everyone is always complaining about the apps or features missing in the iPhone.

What I'm looking for is the silly idea that you would like to see in the iPhone that you think has absolutely no chance of getting in. Okay, I'll get it started:

Since the latest firmware update added lyric support to the iPhone it only seems natural that with the upcoming SDK, the next logical step is... iPhone Karaoke!

No really, stop laughing and imagine it. You have earbuds and they have a built-in microphone. You simply pull up your lyrics and go to town.

Sure it sounds crazy, but just watch. Someone will do it.

What's your "crazy" idea???

Here's some crazy ideas. It's got a camera, right? What if (you'll laugh you ass off with this) you could use that camera to record...VIDEOS.y

I know - I know, it's stupid crazy.

I've thought of another one. What if you could send a picture to someone using 'MMS' - That'd be totally nuts!

This one is real crazy, but it would be so cool if we got it on the iphone.

Voice Dial

I know its way to much to ask, but a man can dream

Here are a couple:

Barcode scanner using the built in camera.

A pedometer using the built in accelerometer that maps your route in combination with the Maps widget using the location feature.

A travel mode that determines where you are using Map and sets some functions, such as the clock and the Weather widget, accordingly.

Also Map related, a "Find Favorite Businesses" option that pops up a window with a list letting you select common nearby business search words. The list would contain keywords such as Gasoline, ATM, Restaurant, Pizza, Ice Cream, ATM, Bank, Starbucks, Gasoline Station... etc.

Bluetooth pairing with the OS X Addressbook and re-enabling of SMS in OS X.

Control of Frontrow/iTunes on your Mac/AppleTV via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth (I'm thinking something along the lines of the new Media Center remotes where the coverart of whatever is playing is shown on the control interface of your phone).

A voice/thought analyzer built into the home button that automatically disables one feature (ipod, email, phone) from the iPhone every time the owner of that phone bitches about a feature that is missing.

love the idea about the fingerprint scan instead of unlocking with code

i would really like to be able to sync the iphone wirelsessly though. everytime my iphone is within 5 feet of my imac i get feedback noise. it's really annoying. am i the only one with this problem?

business card reader using the camera. I would love to be able to just snap a shot of someones biz card and have the phone extract the email addresses name an phone number

Now that Garmin is on board with Macs....

A true GPS receiver combined with Google Maps for routing/auto re-routing when you get off course. Bring in real time traffic information to aid commuters...
