Let's talk Apple leather cases... how does Saddle Brown color age?

Can you guys with Space Grey iPhones + Saddle Brown leather case combo, PLEASE post pics of how your case looks?

I've always had my iPhones in black leather case, but I've got an itch to try something different this time and get Saddle Brown. I saw a guy with a saddle brown case for his phone and it looked so distinguished and dapper, the combination of the black and brown.

How do you like it?

I have one for my 7plus and love it. Started out really light colored and got really dark. The only negative is that the leather scratches and gets torn/chipped if you drop it.

Gets dark and aged but in a nice way like a nice brown leather boot. I have had both black and saddle brown, and black stays newest looking of all the options, but saddle brown ages nicely imo. It definitely darkens and gets the sort of dirty patina though, but I happen to think it looks very appropriate on that color of leatherZ

Used on my 7 plus and now 8 plus. Have black leather case too but most time saddle brown is used.

I switched from the black leather case to the saddle brown a few years ago and never went back. Love how it ages

I love the brown leather case as well. I used one on my SE for almost a year I think and it was beat and worn down to hell. It honestly looked great.

Deep1’s pic are the answer to the threads original question. I have the same case and after 1 year, it looks the same has his one year old picture. Wears very well, just like brown wallet

The patina looks amazing. Makes me want to get a saddle brown case this go round.
