I have spent weeks reading everything I can about monitors and I have narrowed it down to two. I would be very grateful if you guys could weigh in incase I'm missing something. It will bemused with a 2018 Mac mini i5 16gb ram

It's the LG 32uk50t-w vs Dell u2718q both from Costco. If I am correct people seems to think the 27in is a better size for UHD @ 3840 x 2160. In order to make up the loss in size I would even consider 2 of the Dells. Has anyone seen both in action and have any advice.

Thank you in advance

I haven't used the LG but I own the Dell U2718Q and it's a great monitor... I use it connected via the supplied mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, to my late 2014 Retina 5k iMac.

Looks like a good monitor from Dell. My brother owns their flagship model in TN panel for gaming and he is happy. I personally prefer IPS panels myself. I went out and purchased this monitor today.

I have 15 days to return it if I do not like it. So far its pretty outstanding! The font on this monitor is small along with everything else. I can't imagine 4k on a 27", would be far too little for me and I would have to bump the scaling to 150% minimum.

The HDR option really makes everything pop!

Thank you for your responses. I just saw that the Dell just went on sale at Costco with $80 off. I think I will pick one up and go from there. Looking at the 32 inch in the store it might be too big for my desk.

Thanks again

I was wondering whether you bought one of the monitors or not. If you bought either one, I would be obliged if you could share the experience of using and the quality of that monitor.

^^^ same question here. I notice Costco is (still) offering the $80 discount on the S2718Q .. and another big box store has the S2719DM on special this week (although I'd prefer the S2719DC.) Do you find the lack of Mac support from Dell a deterrent? I keep staring back to LG models because of this.

All I know is Apple use LG displays in their iMacs!

Thanks for the comments, but I was wondering about Dell monitor experience, too. I have bought LG 32UK50T from Costco, but when I use its 4k resolution all icons are a little bit small. I could not find a way to fix it. I appreciate any help or comments.
