So confused if i will be able to get dolby atmos with my lg oled b6? Read that i doesnt support atmos over hdmi? So if i get a dolby atmos enabled sound bar there is so way to get it to work with tv os 12 dolby atmos?

If you have an atmos enabled soundbar and you connect the ATV4K directly to the soundbar and pass through video to the tv it will work fine. What you are referring to is atmos over arc.
Like Bigmizzoufan said. You cannot connect your Apple TV to the LG b6 directly and then let the tv pass the Atmos stream to an external audio device like a soundbar or receiver over HDMI-arc. You need a Dolby Atmos capable soundbar that has HDMI 2.0 in- and out ports so you can connect the Apple TV to the soundbar and connect the soundbar to your TV. This way the soundbar receives the full Dolby Atmos stream and passes the video through to your TV en perfect sync.
Bear in mind that there are older soundbars out there (also from LG) that only have HDMI 1.4. These do support the passthrough of 4k video, but they do not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision. So if you want the full Dolby Cinema experience, get a soundbar with HDMI 2.0.
If you go for LG, take the SK10Y or the SK9Y.

As long as the sound bar supports dv yes. Right now there are only a handful of models out there. Many more support hdr
Any list of dolby vision enabled soundbars? All the comes up when i google it is ”dolby atmos enabled”. This is really so overcomplicated i hate this format war. Was looking into getting the coming samsung n950 but ive read it will not support dobly vision passthrough
I have the Sony HT-ST5000 and really like it. There are two other Sony models released this year that have simulated Atmos but no upfiring speakers both support dv pass through. None of the Samsung models support it. There are Vizio models being released later this fall but I’m not sure if they will support it. Im pretty confident the LG SK9Y supports it too but someone can feel free to call me out on this if I am wrong.
