I have it on good authority that iPhone 50 gets embedded in your skull. Direct neural interfacing is where it is at. The iPhone will cost $50 but the operation will set you back $50,000.

But, will it make you thinner?

This is a big problem. Lots of tech being promoted as the next gen battery tech but nothing being adopted.

I suspect one issue is reliability and thus liability issues. No new battery tech will be adopted without years of testing to verify lower fire risk.

iPhone 10 is where it's at....

Personally, I'm excited for the iPhone 50. The wait will be worth it.
Guys, don't waste your time with those prehistoric monsters. iPhone MMC released in the year, you guessed it MMC, will be soooo thin, it's actually a virtual phone downloaded to your brain, and totally activated and commanded by your thoughts, and your thoughts only. No more depletion of valuable resources, shipping costs, recycling headaches, or supporting that ginormous Chinese trade surplus.

No more fumbling for your device, and unlocking with your fingers, ugh, or idiotic iris scans, nor cumbersome 3D laser scans of your face (is that still a thing?), or having to repair cracked screens.

It's the one and only communications device you'll ever download (no more lining up for days to get the latest glossy, yet crude little box ahead of the Joneses), and Apple will instead make their billions from continuous updates when new features are added, rather than the whole rigmarole of designing yet another shiny little box, keeping that Ive guy around, and going through the whole boring and tiresome charade once again.

It'll be introduced on April 1/2100 (Apple's 124th birthday), with downloading starting April 15, tax day (yes, the IRS will still be around), and Samsung will have their NoteMMC available for downloading the week after.

How do I know all this in spite of Apple's tripling and quadrupling down on leaks? Sorry, I promised not to expose my ultra-reliable, and extreme-vetted source.... So sit tight, alright?

By the 50th iteration, the iPhone would have been long gone. They will be remembered as those gigantic bricks their grandfathers used to tote around. The smart watch, smart buds, smart contacts and smart intraocular/inner-ear implants will keep us communicated with natural language and AR.

Or more likely, we'll be back to smoke signals by then for long distance communications. Maybe screaming for short.

So we're skipping the 7s this year and 8s next year?

It would be nice to get rid of the 's' moniker and just keep increasing the number to remain in lockstep with Samsung.
