LG OLED and APP2 - static, sound distortion

Upgraded my TV to an LG OLED C3 this weekend and was excited to be able to BT directly from the TV to my APP2s. Up until now, I have only been able to BT sound to APP2 when using the Apple TV.

To my disappointment, there is random static and sound distortion that occasionally comes through the APP2. Works flawlessly through AT so guessing this is an LG issue? No static or sound distortion when using the TV speaker.

Anyone else have an LG TV and have successfully or unsuccessfully used BT to APP2?

C3😀. Worked good when I tried the pods with the CX. I will have to try it again to see if spatial audio works/sounds the same with the tv apps.

I know this will sound dumb but maybe transparency is on?
