LG Ultrafine 24" 4K dim on wake from sleep

I have a strange bug when I wake my M1 MacBook Pro from sleep connected to my LG Ultrafine 24" 4K the screen is dimmed and won't change brightness until I press down on the brightness level. Does anyone else have this issue?

Yep my Ultrafine is the same and has also been acting up a lot; it's not just when it wakes up, it changes brightness all of a sudden even though there's no change in room light. Then it shows as if brightness is 80% but in reality it's 20% and it's only after I slide the level it corrects instantly (or vice versa). Sound is too loud I can't get past 15% otherwise neighbours hear everything.
I've actually put an ad on marketplace last week and someone is coming to get it tomorrow. I'll wait for rumoured new Apple display and until then, my old Cinema Display will help my eyes 🙂
