Any rumor on LG Ultrafine 5K availability?
Here in EU is not available in any country, Amazon, LG, or Apple stores. I checked in the last two, three months but seems missing even longer.
Also not available in B&H in US.

With all this it is not listed as discontinued and many stores are still waiting to receive them: "more on the way"...."working hard to be back in stock"...

I ordered a LG 27" on 2021-12-08 from Apple website, and received a brand new unit on 2021-12-20 in Texas. The invoice delivery date was late January, 2022. So not sure they are discontinued or not.

I also ordered one from Apple, and received it December 21st. It's also currently available for pickup at my nearest Apple Store.

It's discontinued in Europe. But it is still available in the US.

In Europe you have this Iiyama 27" 5K display as an option not available in the US.

Edit: Maybe not. Not currently available on any Amazon site.

Interestingly, the 24" 4K ultrafine is listed as 'unavailable' in Australia, but the 5K 27" is available.

Is it too much to hope this is an indication that the rumoured new Apple displays are just around the corner? Two iMac-thin 4.5K 24" monitors would be amazing. Especially if they came in all the iMac colours. You can't pair a yellow iMac with a black or silver second monitor!

Here in the Netherlands the 4k is available, not in the Apple store but an official reseller.
I got one, beautiful image, color exactly matching the MBP screen. However each time I looked to it I had this "what small is this thing!!". I returned the monitor after few days...
I guess for me the 24" is too small. Probably the 27" is the best size.

Yes, I noticed last week, thanks. However I ordered Dell UP2720q, will arrive in about 10 days, for the same price as the LG 5K.
Reason to change was mainly the missing ports on the LG.

Running two tb3 computers on LG will require the purchase of an inexistent tb3 KVM switch or some combination of cables, hubs and switches perhaps adding €400-500 to the LG price and no 5K possible.

I had the same, but at the end I told myself, it is a matter of optics. The XDR looks really cool, particularly from ...behind. But 99% of the time I would look to it from the other side.
Than I ordered the Dell which I agree is a kind of ugly

Yeah but also i didn't like the screensize, i ordered a 32inch 4k monitor to test if that's better with text and when the pro display gets updated i will buy that one
