LG UltraFine 5K Display Named 'Best Photo Monitor' in 2017 TIPA Awards

I have my LG UltraFine 27" connected via TB3 to TB2 adapter to my 2014 iMac Retina. What is disappointing is how old the LG makes the original Retina display look. Its dowdy in comparison, using Apple supplied display calibration. I have wanted a dual display for a while, and finally sprung for the LG before the price went up. Not sorry.

Is that a joke?? How much did LG pay for that award? Eizo CG248 would smoke this for photography.

Yeah but the Eizo is around 2.5x the price for a 2 year old, sub 24" 4K display. I'm not saying it's not a good display, the reviews suggest it is. If you want the best display at any price then I doubt that the CG248 would be that monitor - there is always something else better.
