LG ultrafine 5k shipping status

You can now see stocks for the past few days, SoCal had *a lot* this weekend.

The store pop, will also tell you how long it's been available.

yes but when you order online now instead of saying 2-4 weeks it is jan 13-19

mine was 'preparing' since last Friday, and apple still says deliver by 19th. meanwhile the new orders placed NOW will be delivered 13th-18th...

and they say they ship first come first server....

If it's preparing, you'll have it by end of week. Mine went to preparing on Saturday and I JUST got my shipped/tracking notice (though it's still not coming up on ups.com). Apple says delivery is the 11th. Just waiting for UPS site to update so I can set it up for a UPS Store pickup.

Mine went from processing to preparing last Friday, one day earilier than you but yet I don't have tracking yet....
 
Ordered on the 20th, initial delivery window of Jan 6-20 and order shipped this morning (Jan 9 EST).

Unfortunately, Fedex tracking is proving to be useless (see screenshot). Apple order page says estimated delivery date of Jan 11.

Mine has a supposed delivery of tomorrow, but UPS tracking has not updated at all since the time it left California last Friday. Not looking promising....

Mine finally updated with UPS, but for some inexplicable reason, it won't let me setup the pickup at the UPS store down the street from me. It auto selects just one UPS location, and it's about 20 miles from me. Trek the 20 miles on Wed or just sit home and pray the UPS driver doesn't just skip my house and say he 'attempted delivery'.
 
just got my tracking, the shipping changed from next day shipping to standard, i.e. slow, ground shipping.

good job apple.

Mine just changed to prepare for shipping, ordered 22nd and estimate was Jan 11-25 but changed to Jan 13-18 still next day. I bought 2 to replace 2 Thunderbolt displays, which I LOVE, but I think I will have the same reaction as @kinster :)

Edit - very disappointing, I received my tracking but won't get it until next week, it was supposed to be next day o_O

I got both of my 5k display delivered yesterday. One was completely dead out of the box, wouldn't even come on at all. The other worked for about 2 hours before dying. Both are already on their way back to apple, and i'm waiting AGAIN for replacements. The saga continues...

Woah, that's awful, really sorry to hear that. I wonder if they got damaged during the shipping process? Hopefully the replacement process has been straightforward at least..
 
Got mine today. Does what it's supposed to do. A little disappointed the monitor doesn't swivel left/right, but I suppose that's no different then the old TB display. Single cable solution is sweet.

It's good that it goes up and down compared to the old TB display.
 
I ordered mine on Dec. 26th with an original arrival date of January 30th. It went into "Preparing for shipment" 2 days ago with an updated arrival of January 19th, and finally changed to "Shipping to store" late yesterday with an arrival date of tomorrow, the 13th.
