Library takes a LONG time to load if ever on MBP

My main library is on my iMac. I launch iTunes on my MBP and all my songs are there, just greyed out. The little iCloud logo next to "Music" is fluttering, but the library isn't loading.
I have quit iTunes and restarted the MBP.
Anybody have a similar issue?
