I edit documents across multiple platforms (Mac, Windows and Linux). I do therfor use Libreoffice on my Mac because it's a free cross-platform product.

Libreoffice fresh (and still) worked perfectly fine on El Capitan. Sierra is a diffrent story. The program will install, but will only work the first three to four first startups. Then it will crash every time you launch it. I have also tried to install "Libreoffice still" with no luck

Here is a part of the error message:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000000
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Termination Signal: Segmentation fault: 11
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0xb
Terminating Process: exc handler [0]

I belive the issue might be releated to gatekeeper, but I have no idea where to start troubleshooting. Reinstalling makes it work for a few more launches.

Anyone else that have experienced this?

hmm...
Has anyone updated to the current version 5.2.2.2, then experienced problems such as the OP's ?

Still problems. Seems to be releated to java issues in Sierra. Reinstalling the newest version of Java fixed the issue for one launch :0

JAVA 8u112

Installed JDK 8u112, instead of JRE 8u111. Same problem :0 Thanks for the tip anyways.

Edit: My Mac have two graphic cards. Intel + Sierra = crash, nvidia + Sierra = works 0_o Anyone that can explain that?
