Licensing doubts surround Amazon's Cloud Drive

    Uh-oh. Looks like Amazon rushed things a bit to get their product out before anyone else did.

    I have to side with amazon on this one. I think if I'm going to store my music that I legally purchased on the cloud it should not need a special license from sony (or anyone else)

    I suppose Amazon do have a logical point there. It is no different to playing a file with a media player app from your own hard drive, except that drive is a few thousand miles away. Will be interesting to see what happens though. This could have a large effect on the direction that cloud services take.
