Life is Strange was released for Mac on Thursday. Can someone please tell me why this game is so highly rated?
After reading very positive reviews of the Windows version, I bought the game and I have played it for about 2 hours.
In that 2 hours, I have been completely bored. You follow a pretty tedious (so far) storyline, listen to very irritating characters, do obvious things to progress, and even if you don't 'get' what to do next, you can just rewind time and do something else!
No criticism of Feral, who have done their usual excellent port, but what on earth am I missing with this game?

The story picks up the pace in the second episode, but I have a feeling you aren't going to like it.

It's a story/character-driven game like Telltale. If you don't like the characters or the story, there is little point. It's not really meant to have "puzzles," though the interactivity does get a bit more "involved" later on.

I played it when it first came out on Windows, and it really does pick up in the later episodes. The first one is absolutely boring.

Like Cougarcat has said, if you're not enjoying the story thus far, you might not like the rest of the game. The entire game exists to tell you a story, and maybe let you change a few things along the way; nothing more.

I do enjoy the Telltale Games, well, Walking Dead anyway, and I think that Episode 1 in 'Life' was not really typical. Things improved a lot in 2, 3 and 4.
Just about to start the final Episode now!
