iPhone 13 Pro Max LifeProof Fre iPhone 12 Pro Max -> iPhone 13 Pro Max

Has anyone who was using a LifeProof Fre for their iPhone 12 Pro Max tried using it with their 13 Pro Max? I was able to put my 13 Pro Max into the one from my 12 Pro Max and it seems to fit with no issue, I haven't tested for waterproof-ness as I don't really care so much about that as I do just having it from getting dust, etc.

LifeProof of course says the case isn't compatible but I'm wondering if this is just a "let's tell them it isn't so we can get another 90 bucks".

The 13 is a tiny amount thicker, but not enough to really make a difference there. However, the camera lenses are bigger and the square around them is bigger as well. In addition the volume buttons and mute switch are slightly lower on the 13.

As long as the cameras fit and the volume buttons and mute switch work with your iPhone 12 case then I would think you should be ok.

I have 13 PM and fre with MagSafe. I don't have a MagSafe charger but case works ok. Not sure it's "slim" like you say.. Of course, mega size phone anyway with this case it's a pretty big package. Still fits in my Kaki pants leg pockets I always wear. I had Fre case for my 6s+ for years and never had an issue. Sound is a bit muffled on speakers on new one as on old one. You will see evenly spaced dots covering the entire screen protector that is very distracting to me. I thought that was a defect and submitted warranty claim. They sent me a new one and it's the same. Turns out I think I read somewhere that it's supposed to keep the screen protector from sticking to the screen and creating rainbows...I would have preferred that and no dots.. Anyway, I only use it when I'm up north around water or know I'll be in water/rain. I had 1 issue with 6s+ one where the charger hole cover chipped off a bit of the corner. They sent me new one. Other than that never had an issue. Of course, it didn't protect it from a 35lb boat anchor, but that wasn't the cases' fault. Put it in the hood compartment of a SeaDoo with a 35lb anchor and go hit waves and see what happens... Got 13PM 12/6/21 after a 6 week wait and didn't get the case till 12/29 as they weren't out yet. So haven't used it much yet, most likely not till summer. I like it, just haven't had to use it much yet. Also as I don't have MagSafe charger, can't report on that function, sorry.. My next purchase..
