Lifeproof Fre iPhone 6 / 6s compatibility

Hi - anyone knows if the Fre for iPhone 6 would work with iPhone 6s - I've noticed that the dimensions differ slightly

- iPhone 6: 5.84" x 3" x 0.44" / 148.3 mm x 76.2 mm x 11.2 mm and iPhone 6s: 5.9" x 3.1" x 0.49" / 150 mm x 79 mm x 12 mm.

I'm just not sure if it is the inside of the case that the iPhone fits into is different or is it just extra material that makes it bit bigger. I was looking at getting case for iPhone 6 but maybe its better to get 6s version for my 6s.

I picked one up- at Walmart said iPhone 6-6s on it.
It is on my daughters phone and works perfectly.

Got clarification from Lifeproof on this matter for anyone who is wondering about compatibility.

"Our new case for the Iphone 6S case is designed to work with the Iphone 6. However, the older case for the Iphone 6 is NOT compatible with the 6S. You would need to purchase the case for the 6S.

This is only for the FRE style case. The NUUD cases are specific to the phone you have."
