LifeProof Fre Power (NEW THREAD)

Got an email from LifeProof today letting me know the Fre Power was a valuable for pre-order.

Nice surprise with this was that they offered a $13 discount tight off the bat once you go into your shopping cart.

Placed my order today with a ship date of May 15th and should have it by the 17th w/ free 2 day delivery. Hopefully this case doesn't have as many issues as the Fre and Nuud.

Anyone else picking this up?

I ordered the case and received it today via overnight shipping. This is my first power case and wow is it heavy. The overal size isn't bad it's just the extra weight of the battery. Screen protectors looks okay. I'll give it a few days and report back

LifeProof Fre Power (NEW THREAD)

It has arrived; water testing it now.

First impressions is it feels good in the hands; feels alittle but bigger than the Otterbox Defender and obviously slightly longer.

Touch ID: Works without a problem for me anyways.

Command Center/Notifications: Also works without a problem. No screen gap up at the top which is awesome (I don't know why they can't do that with the regular Fre case.

Sound Quality: So far so good; speaker sound is slightly muffled but much better than the Nuud (I've tested that out on it). Also the ear piece speaker is also pretty much crystal clear as well which is a huge surprise since their is no cutout for the wound only a different type plastic piece embedded into the screen protector.

Screen protector: Unfortunately this ruins the case for me. I keep getting this rainbow effect and it is annoying the heck out of me! Also the screen protector smudges very easily.

Mine comes in tuesday and I was wondering if any of you have left the zagg glass screen protector on under the case. I don't need submersion protection and if it doesn't cause any issues id like to leave mine on. Mainly I need the abuse protection from hits drops etc etc.

Hi can you tell us if this is thinner than the otterbox defender ? Also does the back of the case scratch easy ? And can you post a pic next to another case to get the feel of this size ..Thanks
