Lifeproof Nuud vs. Fre for 6s+

I just purchased my first Lifeproof case yesterday and I got the Nuud. I chose the Nuud over the Fre because I didn't want that plastic membrane over my screen but I did not do my homework first and didn't realize I would have to take my tempered glass screen protector off before the Nuud would fit correctly. With the screen protector on I could never get the case to close completely. Now that I have removed it, it still seems like the case is extremely tight and I'm not sure the bottom is even locking completely closed. In trying to get it to work last night I took it apart and put it back together many times so I decided this morning to take the o-ring out and rinse everything really good. I am hoping that this works and the thing closes completely and allows me to open and close the tab over the charging port easier.

If I am unable to get it installed correctly today I am considering returning it to Best Buy for the Fre because they have that case as well. Now for my question... I know opinions are just that BUT, how many have used both cases and which is actually better? Also, how is the adhesive screen protector that comes with the Nuud? If I decide to keep the Nuud and not exchange it for the Fre, I might want to install it unless it's going to make my screen look like crap. Anyway, I ramble. Please, give me your opinions, which of these cases is better and why do you think the way you do? TIA

With the Fre, I've had two of them now, both have had horrible screen distortions and rainbow. About all of use I can contribute

My biggest problem right now is I'm not sure if my case is closing correctly. It closes really well all around the sides and top but the bottom just doesn't seem to want to snap all the way closed. I don't know, I might just be too picky. LOL. Here's what it looks like, it doesn't seem to want to snap all the way closed at the bottom plus the tab over the charging port is extremely difficult to open.

Yea that definitely doesn't look right to me. Maybe I can dig one of mine out later and snap a few pics for you to compare to

Is the Lifeproof case made for the 6s Plus or just 6 plus?
I like the NUUD better-

The Nuud case has different versions for the 6s+ and the 6+, with the Fre the two versions of phones share the same case.

I ended up taking it back to Best Buy and exchanging it for the exact same version and color, the new case fits perfectly. I think my first case wasn't cut correctly as when comparing the two cases in the store with the Best Buy sales rep there was a visible difference in the bottom part of the two cases, where it snaps together by the headphone jack. They are going to send it back to Lifeproof.
