Having a very nerdy childhood spending 4+ hours a day for years at Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 9 trying to beat your wpm the day before.
Re the other poster who said get an external keyboard - the whole point of a laptop is portability so when I'm going from IT job to IT job, carrying a keyboard along with my Macbook Air isn't preferable but definitely an option. Thanks. I guess a $70 bluetooth keyboard beats a $300 repair job down the road.
Thats actually faster than the Guinness world record for typing on a computer keyboard...which is a 170 wpm for a constant period of longer than a minute.

Everyone I know says that I'm the fastest typer they've ever met. Interesting. I always figured that when I Googled world's fastest typer that it was done on a PC keyboard. Interesting reading... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typing (go down to the words per minute section).
Either way, keyboards don't last very long when I type on them. I'd love to pound away on a Macbook Air's keyboard as it is a NICE keyboard but I feel like I'm throwing mud on a BMW M3.
