I use lifx (1 app for scenes timers etc works with Alexa) lutron (1 app for scenes timers etc but also works with aleax for my scenes). But I also don’t have 30 different brands like you do. Stick with HomeKit. Clearly it works for you I’m just saying for what I do there is no added value to me.
I’m not selling you homekit. I’m pointing out that Alexa is an inferior, less capable product, which while it seems to be working for your needs, you seem to be agreeing with.

I don’t believe it’s inferior. Alexa is more widely adopted with the products you use for your smart home then HomeKit is. I believe that for day to day needs for smart home features it’s everybit as good as what you’re saying HomeKit is.Its all personal preference I just don’t see why people are so sold on HomeKit and against google or echo because I haven’t found it any better then what I’m currntly using.
