johannnn macrumors 68030 Original poster Oct 29, 2014 #1 In previous systems, a light wallpaper made the desktop file names black for greater contrast. In Yosemite, even with a white (#FFFFFF) wallpaper, the desktop file labels are white with a faint black shadow. Why this downgrade? 🙁
