Hello,

Great Forum and folks.

Have a quite old iPhone.
Apparently an "iPhone SE"
Model: MHG73LL/A

Want to purchase a cable to transfer photos from
iPhone to mac.

Is the bottom connector on the phone called a "Lightning" connector" ?

I seem to remember, but very likely incorrectly, that what
I now have pre-dates their going to a Lighning Connector, and mine
is called "something" else ?

Any clarification on this would be most appreciated, so I can order
something appropriate via Amazon.

Regards and thanks,
Bob

All versions of the SE use a Lightning connector.. The older cord you have is a 30 Pin connector which is what Apple devices had before the Lightning connector was released

If you order a lightning cable be sure to confirm (via the reviews) that it will transfer data…if you need it to do that.
