Lightning Earphones DO fit in the travel case!!

A bit disappointed that Apple have not provided the travel case with the new Lightning Earphones....I used it all the time as it kept my Earphones tidy in my bag

And just to prove that the size isn't an issue......here's a pic showing them inside the case.....they fit easily too (I had read in another thread that they didn't fit)

Cost Cutting I suppose.....I'll just have to keep my old case!!!

It's part of their initiative to use less plastic in their packaging.

The inner tray looks to be made out of a potato cardboard type packaging, rather than the plastic of old years.

Yes, same packaging minus the adapter on the back.

Apple is making a move away from plastics, in favor of paper and cardboard for their packaging. All in the name of being more environmentally responsible. It's why they switched to nicer paper bags in their stores as well.

They are more awkward to put in the old case because of the flatter lightening head.
