Lightning Port on Black

I looking at getting a matte black. I noticed at the apple store that almost all the black 7's had bad scratches around the trim of the Port. Granted I'm sure these units have been in and out of the docks hundreds of times. Just wondering if anyone with a black 7 can let me know how theirs is holding out. I'm not sure if the port is painted or if the black is embedded in to metal..

True that. But I was at Apple 4hrs after they opened and most black ports were scratched up

Mine's fine...but then again, I'm not jamming keys and razor blades in the port.

I doubt people in apple stores care about handling the demo iPhones with any type of care. Unlike most of the people in these forums treat their iPhones like a new born baby lol
