Lightning sensor/trigger

    I am not familiar with that model but do have an older version of the PatchMaster. It sat in my camera bag for about two years before I got the chance to use it. (Not a lot of thunderstorms around here.)

    I've been very happy with it and it looks like they have updated it and added a sound sensor. The price is a bit lower than what I remember. Construction on my version seems a bit iffy but it has held up well for being neglected and banged around for a couple of years. ;)

    Have you tried Magic Lantern? It's free and offers the same capabilities, but in camera.

    Thx so much! I just installed ML a few weeks back, first to see how many shutter clicks my 4 yr old T1i has, 55k, and then played with it slightly.

    Now, I need to try this out
