Lightning to Thunderbolt cable

Do you think apple will ever make a Thunderbolt to Lightning cable? It would be nice to use one of the Thunderbolt ports for a change, not to mention the faster syncing. But would this even be technologically possible?

I was thinking the same thing. I believe I read somewhere that the memory used in the iPhone is not even fast enough to take full advantage of USB2, let alone Thunderbolt. So it wouldn't make sense. That's just what I read though.
