Lightning usb drive with native iPad OS support?

Hi

is there a lightning usb drive that has native iPadOS support and does not need any additional app?

on Amazon it is never clear if you need an app or not.

over 50 view and no response. I guess that means there is no native supported Lightning/USB stick for iPad OS available yet......

I have two different Lightning uSD card readers and both still require the use of their apps under 13.1. I read that the same is true with the SanDisk iXpand drive (though with the iXpand you can plug the USB-A end into the Apple USB dongle - needs extra power, though).

This is frustrating there are no native solutions
