I have accidentially entered a mistyped spelling for "France" in the "Country" box when entering IPTC Image location info.

Now, each time I start typing "France," the menu drops down with the list of all the words I've used that start "Fr..." with the correct and incorrect spelling.

How do I get rid of the incorrect spelling? Is there a way I can delete just that word? Can I delete all of the words that drop down?

I have added a small screen shot showing, specifically what I am asking about. In this particular case, I'd rather that the single "F" and the spelling "FRance" not be in that drop down list. I want to get rid of them.

I looked in the plist, but did not see these METADATA words, so have no idea if just trashing the plist would get rid of the junk-typos. Will it? Is there an easier, less drastic way? The manuals/online help don't address this, as far as I can see.

I've attached a small screen show of what I am asking about.

Thanks

Deleting the Metadata suggestions

OK, the solution is found in File/Catalog Settings. Select the Metadata tab; look at "Offer suggestions from recently entered vaules" and click "Clear All Suggestion Lists."

I keep forgetting about the Catalog Settings since it is a separate preference set not part of Preferences.
