I've been wanting to make some DVDs to mail out with a Lightscribe label on them. I've seen some discussion here and there on lightscribe, but never a thread around it. I thought I would see what others are doing for their lightscribe needs.
I already have burners on both my laptop and my home Mac Mini so the device I need is mainly for the lightscribe. If I could watch blu-ray off my mac then I'd be up for a blu-ray drive with lightscribe but since I can't I don't think it's worth the money to get that.
Back in '06, I had a LaCie d2 DVDąRW with LightScribe 16x ( 300978 which I got from Amazon for $130 or $140.
I'd also like to send both DVD+R and DVD-R in case one works and the other doesn't.
